Sweetcorn / Corn on the Cob

Sweetcorn

 

Single Serve = 1 corn cob or 1/2 cup of kernels

Storage = In fridge covered

Preparation = Sweetcorn can be eaten raw. Remove husk and threads. Eat directly from the cob or use a knife to cut kernels from cob.

Cooking = Boil, Steam, Microwave, BBQ

Use = stir fry,as side dish, curries and casseroles, soup and salad.

Fresh corn tastes so much better than the tinned variety. If you have never tried it give it a go today.
